I found it amazing that one could be so specific with Photoshop in downsizing or scaling an image. I like how it gives you the option to scale by Pixel Dimension, or to scale by Document Size. I had no idea that there was so many details like resampling the image, or constraining proportions. And I didn't know that after inputting the new size, it tells you what the pixel dimensions would be after hitting ok. Photoshop is quite awesome so far.

Selecting images amazed me because I didn't realize there were so many ways to select an image, or a piece of the image. My personal favorite is the Magic Wand Tool because it selects the same color pixels which can make it easy to remove that part of an image if needed. Although, I do not think that that the Magic Wand Tool is always precise and that one should always double check and erase or deselect with the Lasso tool the pieces that you don't want selected for a more precise selection. I also like the magnetic lasso tool, and if i had more patience I am sure that it is more precise in its selection than the Magic Wand Tool. The Quick Selection Tool is also quite useful and can save a lot of time because you can hold and drag this tool for an easy and quick selection of the object you want selected.
